Photography has always been an important component of Agricultural Communications Services in the UK College of Agriculture. For over fifty years, we have provided the finest agriculture-related images of work in the college, Cooperative Extension and Kentucky 4-H Youth Development.

Steve Patton | Communications Specialist

Steve received his photojournalism degree from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He worked for a multi-image production company there in Virginia for five years before moving back to Kentucky where he had gone to college. Steve has been at the UK College of Agriculture as a communications specialist in the Agricultural Communications Services department since 1991.

Matt Barton | Communications Specialist

Growing up on a farm, Matt didn't have much time for photography until college. In 1999, he earned his Journalism degree at the University of Kentucky and went to work for a newspaper in South Carolina. Later, he was the primary sports photographer for Duke University Photography. In late 2001, he returned to Lexington as a communications specialist in photography at the UK College of Agriculture.
